[Dropover - Easier Drag and Drop on your Mac.](https://dropoverapp.com/)
- Drag and drop orders
- When dragging into Dropover
- Dropover displays the stack the same way macOS stacks the files while dragging
- It works this way in both Finder and Photos
- It’s not necessarily the same order these apps drop their files though
- The item under your mouse when the drag starts ends up at the top of the stack
- After that, it’s based on distance
- The next closest item to your mouse is the next item, followed by the one after that, and so on
- This is by *pixel distance* on screen.
- If you select multiple rows of items, you’ll get some items on an adjacent row before you get items of the current row
- When dragging out of Dropover
- The top most item of the stack gets dropped first.
- (It’s a stack)
- This means that dragging from one shelf to another one reverses the order.
